The Operational Logistic Specialist ensures the performance of organizational, managerial, and operational activities that govern in the company the flow of materials and related information from origins at suppliers to delivery of finished products to customers.
Main Responsabilities
Carrying out the procedures for the acceptance, receipt and dispatch of goods with the preparation of the relevant documentation
Procurement management, exposure changes and accounting alignments of proprietary shops
Managing the return, repair and re-sale process of second-hand products
Co-ordination of deliveries in set-up and off-load booking of major business partners
Management of scrap products
Management of local logistics providers and internal shipments
Management of departmental mailboxes
Skills required
Knowledge of warehouse management processes
Knowledge of regulations governing national and international transport, environment, and notions of commercial law
Knowledge of operational and logistical processes related to the retail world
Knowledge of operational techniques relating to transport, local distribution, distribution administration and control, and inbound and outbound transport management
Knowledge of transport documentation
Problem solving and proactivity
Organizational and time management skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
Knowledge of Italian and English languages
